Hello lovely I'm So Glad You're Here-3.png

About me: I am a South Texas photographer, and have been photographing for about 14+ years. I'm 30. I specialize in family, couple, & motherhood portraiture (maternity, breastfeeding, momma + me), newborns, and children! Photography is my true passion like best friend. I love finding beauty and creating art out of the ordinary things. Just getting in the car and going somewhere I have never been before gets me inspired. Photography is such a beautiful art. I am humbled and grateful to see the world through the lens of my camera.

Things I love:  playing hugging with my favorite two babes fulfills my soul . Slow mornings . Painting. Pizza . Chocolate . Antiques . Bookstores . Disney movies . Video games. Long drives . Airplane window seat . Exploring new cities . Finding old abandoned places . Stormy beaches . Mountain breeze in my hair. Taking hikes through the wilderness.

With every session, I am mind-blown by all the variations of love that give me breath. I am just blessed enough to be able to experience a little bit of everyones story— doing what I love. That is what I photograph. That is how I see. I capture the motherhood journey in an intimate + organic way, as you create new memories with your loved ones, to tell a story that is uniquely yours. That is how I'd like to photograph you and the ones you love — your quirks, inner beauty, true personality, and all the in-between moments! I’m passionate about capturing human interaction and love and am inspired by the spirit of my subjects. I want people to be able to look back on real photos of themselves and remember how they felt that day, or what made them so happy that they reached out to hire a photographer. I would love the opportunity to meet with you and capture the moments in your life that make you smile. Leaving you with timeless photographs for you and your family to cherish for many years to come.

My Philosophy, photography should be candid. I believe in capturing authentic and candid moments. Instead of incredibly posed pictures, I prefer to add movement and authenticity to sessions. I consider myself to be a very non-traditional person in a lot of different ways, and how I do my art is one of these things. When I’m editing a session, I want to showcase all of the emotions felt — the cuddling, the tickles, twirls, & giggles, & while I use light to help tell my story, I like to let emotion sing the sweet tune of the love felt during your session. My goal as a photographer is to make my clients as confident and comfortable as possible! If you’re wanting picture-perfect photos where everyone is sitting up straight, looking right at the camera with cheesy smiles, and is perfectly posed, I am NOT the photographer for you.

Crystal
